The old Portsmouth Naval Prison was one of the stops on the tour. It still looks formidable but is in tough physical shape.

Due to crumbling condition of the building, we were not allowed to get too close for fear of being struck by falling masonry.

Captain David Kratch, last Commanding Officer of Albacore, was gonged aboard in the time-honored tradition of the sounding of two sets of two bells

Albacore's ship bell was used to honor the entry of the two former Commanding Officers and was later used in honoring our shipmates who had departed on Eternal Patrol since our last reunion in 2015.
