Radm Ross N. Williams by Theo 'Ted' Clarke

Rear Admiral Williams was an officer (Lt.) on board the Albacore when I served aboard her during the period 1955-1957. Some 25 years later, during the 1980 Voyager encounter with Saturn, he was one of the VIPs at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the encounter. A photographer took the photo below showing us chatting during a break in the festivities. Admiral Williams and Admiral Boyes later attended my lecture to the midshipmen at the Naval Academy in November of 1981.
